GAME #4

DOOLY COUNTY 51

JOCO 6

The Johnson County Trojans (1-3) lost to the undefeated Dooly County Bobcats 51-6.  The Trojans were able to move the ball in the first half but three turnovers led to 24 of the Bobcat's 32 first half points.  The Trojans had five turnovers in the game to the Bobcats zero.  That makes Dooly County (+12) in turnover margin for the year.  Jake Stephenson provided the highlight of the night for the Trojans.  Jake sprinted 49 yards early in the first quarter for a touchdown.  He ended the game with 72 yards on 9 carries.  Ashton Thompson was the leading rusher for the Trojans with 84 yards on 14 carries.  The Trojans must regroup next week when they travel to Bobby Gentry Stadium in Hawkinsville.  They were in pretty much the same situation last year and managed to have a pretty good season.  Make the trip to Hawkinsville, it ain't that far, and support the Trojans.  Kickoff is at 8:00 p.m.
