| The Johnson County
Trojans suffered a tough loss at the hands of the Falcons of East Laurens.
With 2:30 remaining in the game Chris Cephus hit Wadriques Jackson with a 17
yard touchdown pass to give East Laurens the lead and eventually the game.
JOCO had taken their first lead of the game with 7:40 remaining in the
fourth quarter. Stanquez Carlyle went in from one yard out. The
Trojans other two scores came on a Jake Stephenson 2 yard run and a Harvey
Harris 20 yard run. The Stephenson score was set up by a 71 yard
kickoff return by Harvey Harris. Alex Chan kicked the extra point.
Ashton Thompson led the Trojans with 87 yards rushing on 18 carries.
Harvey Harris added 83 yards on 9 carries. Charleston Graddy had an
interception return of 23 yards. |
