JOCO 51 Jenkins County 14

The Johnson County Trojans (6-0) scored early and often in the first half en route to a 51-14 sub-region victory over the Jenkins County Eagles(1-5).  The Trojans led 24-0 after the first quarter and 44-0 at halftime.  D. J. Rozier and Zack Walker accumulated all of their stats in the first half as they did not play the second half.  Bull Darrisaw accumulated 162 of his 191 yards in the first half, as well.  The Trojans led the yardage totals, 329-78 at the break.  The game was delayed 15-20 minutes as the third quarter was about the start.  A light above the pressbox exploded and then caught on fire.  When the second half started it didn't take long to finish the game.  The second half was played with a running clock.  The Trojans will hit the road for the first time in three weeks next Friday.  JOCO will travel to Alamo to face the Wheeler County Bulldogs.  Wheeler County lost to Treutlen last night, 34-14.
