JOCO CROSS COUNTRY
The Johnson County Cross Country team traveled to Mercer University in Macon this past Saturday to participate in the Mercer Runfit Sports Invitational.  Boys running for Johnson County included: Austin Browning (21:29.89), Jacob Way (23:01.00), Dalton Foskey (23:50.24), Will Jackson (25:58.33), Brian Ashley (26:42.19) and Skyler Sterling (30:01.30).  Girls competing for Johnson County included: Hannah Fulghum (27:32.76), Jadah Mack (28:55.34), Tyneatrious King (34:09.54) and Drikerria Wright (34:11.09).

CROSS COUNTRY
The boys and girls cross country team competed in a six team meet hosted by Swainsboro High School on Wednesday.  The teams attending were Jenkins County, Swainsboro, Vidalia, Jefferson County, East Laurens, and Johnson County.  The girls placed 2nd and the boys placed 6th.  Top finishers for the girls were Hannah Fulghum placing 4th and Jadah Mack placing 9th out of 52 girls.  Austin Browning was the top finisher for the boys' team finishing 13th out of 77 participants.  The team will be competing next week in Swainsboro and at Mercer University in Macon.
