JOCO 24 JENKINS COUNTY 0
The Johnson County Trojans rebounded from last week's loss with a 24-0 victory over the Jenkins County Eagles.  The Trojans defense put on a stellar performance allowing the Eagles only one first down and 37 total yards of offense.  The deepest penetration into Trojan territory was the JOCO 42.  On offense Bull Darrisaw had his second consecutive 100 yard rushing game.  Bull rushed for 114 yards on 19 carries.  Markel Horne had the first 100 yard passing game of his young career.  Kel passed for 102 yards on 7-15 passing.  He also rushed for 30 yards on 8 carries.  Keemo Burton rushed for 49 yards on 10 carries and caught 2 passes for 29 yards.  Also, Keriyon Smith was the leading receiver with 3 catches for 57 yards.  The Trojan offense would have put up more points if not for turnovers in Eagle territory.  The Trojans fumbled on the Eagles four and the Eagles 33 and threw an interception on the Eagles 30.  JOCO also missed a 42 yard field goal at the end of the first half.  The Trojans are now 3-3 overall and 2-1 in sub-region 3-A West.  With wins in the next two games against Wheeler County and Treutlen the Trojans will clinch the #2 spot in the sub-region and get the right to host the region play-in game.
