LADY TROJANS
SOFTBALL CONCLUDES SUCCESSFUL SEASON |

The Johnson County Lady Trojans softball team (23-8)
competed in the state tournament this past weekend in Dublin. The Lady
Trojans finished second in sub-region 2B and were the #3 seed from Region 2.
The Lady Trojans opened the tournament on Friday afternoon against Schley
County with a 7-6 win. They lost Savannah Country Day later that
evening, 7-4.
On Saturday JOCO defeated Telfair County 3-2 and Irwin County before losing
to Treutlen 11-1. The Lady Trojans were one win away from extending
their season one more week. Congratulations to the Lady Trojans on a
great season. |

Lady Trojans defeated the host school twice to take the championship trophy. |
