The Johnson County Middle School
defeated the Telfair County Middle School 14-0 to win the Oconee River
Middle School Conference Championship. The Trojans scored all of their
points in the first half. Ronquez Harden completed a pass to LaKeith
Hall from about 3 yards out for the first score. The conversion was
missed. Ronquez Harden ran about 30 yards for the second touchdown.
Harden completed a conversion pass to LaKeith Hall to finish the scoring.
The Trojans outscored their opponents 96-8 this season. Coach Tramayne
Young's defense didn't allow any points...the only opponent score was on a
kickoff return. This is the Johnson County Middle School's sixth
championship and first since 2006. This year's seniors were in the 8th
grade in 2006. Congrats on a great season!!!
