On Thursday May 8, 2003 the football field was dedicated to Herschel Walker.  Loran Smith was the guest speaker.  Also speaking were former Head Football Coach Gary Phillips, former Assistant Football Coach and Track Coach Tom Jordan and current Head Coach Bill Bonds.
